A story about Andrew. Andrew was born in Indianapolis, IN and raised there and in Heidelburg, Germany. He attended Wheaton College and graduated in 2003. After that, he worked for two years in Chicago, IL. In the fall of 2005, Andrew began to pursue a philosophy M.A. in the Los Angeles area. When he moved to Los Angeles, he did not know anyone in the area. One of the major reasons why he moved there was to interact more with Japanese people. Knowing that (a) he did not know anyone and (b) he has friends who know everyone, Andrew begged his friend Davy Millard to introduce him to people that he knew there. Davy introduced Andrew to Soon Cho. Soon asked Andrew for a ride to visit his friend, Hisho, who was volunteering for a Japanese ministry that met at APU. Andrew, happy to have the opportunity and to help a friend, obliged. |

A Story about Stephanie and Andrew. Andrew and Soon initially started going somewhat irregularly to the outreaches at APU and were going more regularly by the spring semester of 2006. In the spring semester of 2006, Stephanie returned to APU from England to help with the volunteer English tutoring. A few short weeks into the spring semester of 2006, Andrew and Stephanie met. Shortly after they met, Stephanie asked Andrew out (or so Andrew thought at the time). Shortly, thereafter, Andrew returned the favor and the rest is their story. |
