Wedding Andrew and Stephanie will be getting married on May 16, 2009 at the Aioi Megumi Kirisuto Kyoukai located in Aioi City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Stephanie went on three mission trips to this church and thinks it will be a beautiful place for their wedding. She looks forward to reuniting with her friends there and introducing them to Andrew. Their prayer is that this wedding can be a witness of Christ's love both to the church members and non-Christian friends that Stephanie made in that town, some of whom may experience attending a Christian wedding for the first time. The Christian symbols and cultural traditions will be explained during the bilingual ceremony or appear in a program. |

Location The charming port city of Aioi could be described as suburbs mixed with rice fields. Surprisingly, it has a bullet train station for easy access even though it is small and not a touristy place. Yet just one short stop away on the train line is Himeji, a city that boasts what is considered the best castle in Japan. The castle, Himeji-jou, and its gardens can be explored with a friendly English-speaking guide for free. |
