Randy and Jeanette Taylor, parents of the bride. Randy and Jeanette raised their firstborn in a Christian home, let her use their musical theatre season passes, paid for her art lessons, wrote to her at summer camp, attended every one of her shows and recitals, and let her become a vegetarian, among other things. They still pray for her, watch anime with her, encourage her to excel, support her pursuits, and comfort her when she's sad. Randy enjoys perusing used bookstores and his job as a contracts manager at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He and Stephanie share a love of history and literature. Jeanette continues to help out her daughters and extended family with numerous tasks and watch movies. She and Stephanie ran an eBay business of selling anime merchandise, and they traveled around Japan in 2000. |

Even though her niece disobeyed her, killing the goldfish, while Stephanie's parents were in Italy, over the years she has sown Halloween costumes, made up fairy tales, designed pop-up Valentine's Day cards, and organized creative birthday parties. Eileen lived in the same house for a number of years during Stephanie's childhood, and worked on campus while Stephanie attended Azusa Pacific University. She has been a spiritual support over Thai restaurant lunch conversations and phone call prayers. Eileen and Stephanie share a heart for getting to know God better and doing ministry. Kimberly Taylor, sister of the bride. Kimberly Taylor, sister of the bride. As a toddler, Stephanie appreciated that Kimmie was quite pleased to share her toys, and later how Kimmie liked to pretend (such as mermaids, post office, centaur-ettes, spaceship, and runaway orphans), write backyard musicals, and form fanclubs... even when Stephanie gave ultimatums of how these things ought to be done. They got baptized in the same baptismal on the same morning and went on a mission trip to Aioi Megumi Kirisuto Kyoukai in 2001. Stephanie and Kimmie took 2 classes together at APU. Kimmie continues her enjoyment of dance and secretary work as the Office Manager at Academy of Music & Dance and creates art from found objects in her spare time. Brittany Taylor, sister of the bride. Brittany didn't complain when young Stephanie naively invented haphazard nicknames for her, which ranged from Princess Nickel to Bloke, although she did burst in and ruin the My Little Pony movie being filmed in Stephanie and Kimberly's bedroom. In later years she played Becky in 2 versions of Stephanie's Adventures of Tom Sawyer directed productions. Stephanie read countless classic novels and Babysitter's Club books to Kimmie and Brittany under the covers after bedtime, and became an assistant for Brittany's Girl Scout troop. Nowadays they share interest in international student ministry and discuss material from the Biblical Studies classes Stephanie told Brittany she had to take. |
